hey guys.. on my red top its been starting wierd latley and sometimes doesnt even start, but once it is warmed up everythings fine but i had some coolant probs before and after replacing my thermostat with a nismo one everything was cool, but i heard about one of the coolant temp sensors going out would cause this since there is two, one for the ecu and one for the gauge.and it thinks its not warmed up when it is so has anyone ever had this prob before?? and wich sensor is it??? thx alot !!!

i have heard of coolant temps sensors doing some crazy stuff to engines but im not sure in your case
im not to familiar with sr's but with an rb the temp sensors are right beside each other



cicled in black is were my coolant temp sensors are, im sure there the same as the ka coolant temp sensors and there same as sr's and there cheap if you just wanna change it out to see if thats what the problem is.
